EASTER WORSHIP SERVICE MC NOTES
1) MC: WELCOME POINTS TO DRAW UPON
- Good morning. Happy Easter. Welcome to our annual Easter worship service. What a joy it is to come together on this holy day!
- Today around the world, millions of Christians of various cultures are celebrating the risen Christ.
- We celebrate the universal teachings of Christ Jesus that are echoed in the teachings of our Gurudev and masters of many faiths
- New Testament Ephesians 5 – Paul says: “For you were once darkness but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of the Light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)”.
- Light is viewed as a divine symbol by all faiths. In our worship service we will honor the Divine Light of Christ and His teachings.
- This Easter celebration will be in line with Ephesians 5, which says: “Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord”.
