Reverend Bhagavan Metro, serves as Chairperson of the Integral Yoga Ministry Board of Directors and the Satchidananda Ashram Yogaville Spiritual Life Board. Reverend Bhagavan has been a devotee of Sri Gurudev since 1973 and a member of the Yogaville, Virginia Ashram since 1981. Reverend Bhagavan is a certified Integral Yoga instructor and was ordained as a Minister of Integral Yoga in 1980. As co-owner of New Age Builders, he constructed many of the buildings on the Ashram and in the community. Reverend Bhagavan embraces and teaches all aspects of Integral Yoga with emphasis on married life and community life. He has served as a speaker on many panels and conducted many workshops both live and on Zoom. He and his wife of 56 years, Reverend Bhavani, have 6 children, 15 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren, all of whom have lived at or near Yogaville. He also does laundry and washes dishes!
